The total sustainability ratio of this article is 41%, given by the amount of recycled material (25%) plus the amount of material coming from renewable sources (16%) used in the production process.
CLIMA is the sustainable evolution of Limonta’s traditional coagulated and coated articles, developed with recycled and renewable raw materials through low environmental impact processes.
A transversal collection that responds to the demands of the various markets in which we operate: accessories, footwear, clothing, furniture, and automotive.
We believe that developing more responsible production models is not only a necessary choice but especially an investment for the future.
In 2018, with the BE I Limonta manifesto, we fulfilled this change, committing ourselves to reduce the environmental impact of our production processes, to use raw materials responsibly, and to reduce waste preferring recovery and reuse solutions.

CLIMA articles are produced in our own factories to guarantee greater control of the supply chain. Thanks to energy-efficient solutions, production takes place with a low environmental impact.
We are able to self-produce 50% of the total energy consumed thanks to the installation of photovoltaic panels and to our trigeneration system.
Any type of effluent, emission into the atmosphere or water discharge, is actually effectively treated, thus protecting the environment surrounding our production sites.
We use a water treatment plant to recover and reuse almost 15% of the water resource.
By means of our distillation plant, we are able to reintroduce into our production cycle almost 99% of the solvent used.
